If our region is called "Hiking Valley" in summer the name "Ski Touring Valley" is spot-on in winter.

Get closer to the sky and feel nature more intensely. Away from the hustle and bustle of ski slopes the deep snowy forests and numerous peaks around the Osterhorn mountain range invite on extensive ski tours. Numerous tours of varying lengths and difficulty levels let you enjoy the snowy slopes that sparkle in the warming rays of the sun. Passing snow-filled gorges and forests you can enjoy the up- and the downhill.

Beware that there are several factors to consider. It is important that your equipment fits you properly and that you monitor weather conditions. Be sure to ski tour with at least one other person and talk to locals along the way. Be cautious on unsecured slopes, as there may be a risk of avalanches. It is best to venture into unknown territory with a guide.
