Active holidays in Faistenau

To be honest: We could never decide on a favourite season. That's because nature around the Fischerwirt allows for a perfectly active holiday year round.

In spring and summer, the days cannot be long enough: there is so much to discover! From family hiking trails to challenging mountain and mountain bike tours for athletes, the mountains around Faistenau & the Lake Fuschl region offer plenty of variety. In the golden autumn, nature slowly transforms into a colourful masterpiece: perfect for a relaxing forest time at the Fischerwirt. In winter, you can take the ski bus directly from the hotel to the start of the cross-country ski trails and the ski lifts. Romantic winter hikes, tobogganing and horse-drawn carriage rides in the snow-covered landscape round off your winter holiday.

The Nature Hotel Fischerwirt in Salzburger Land has been certified and awarded by the region as a hiking hotel.
